The number of foreign commercial ships arriving at Mongla Port has increased compared to the previous year. In the first seven months of the 2024-2025 financial year, a total of 496 ships docked at Mongla Port.
During this period, 6,562,300 tonnes of goods were imported and exported. This included the loading and unloading of 12,083 used containers from 23 container ships, as well as the unloading of 6,751 reconditioned vehicles from 12 vehicle ships.
