[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]India’s exports to Bangladesh attained an impressive value of $6.8 billion for 2016-17, up 13 per cent over the previous fiscal. Also, total bilateral trade touched an all-time high of $7.5 billion during the period, a surge of 11 per cent, as per Ministry of Commerce figures.
This has been attributed to a significant rise in the export of equipment and high-value machinery for projects in Bangladesh, and comes after a slow two consecutive years.
Bangladesh is the ninth largest importer of Indian goods.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
