Highway connectivity to international trade points

India will link its major highway corridors to international trade points at an estimated cost of Rs 25,000 crore. The aim is to facilitate trade with bordering countries such as Nepal and Bangladesh.

Part of the Bharatmala Pariyojana, about 2,000 km of highways will be constructed to link major highway corridors to international trade points, Mr Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport, Highways and Shipping, said recently.
