Regional Container Lines (RCL) has announced the launch of its inaugural Colombo to Tuticorin service, providing two sailings per week. The Service Code is RTC.
RTC (RCL Colombo-Tuticorin) service will commence its maiden voyage on January 8, 2018 with M.V. Charlie voyage 001N calling CMB (Mon/Tue) – TUT (Wed/Thu) – CMB (Fri/Sat) – TUT (Sun/Mon).
Mr Charlie Chu, RCL’s EVP Business, said, “Introducing this new service to the market is in response to main line operators requesting for more feedering options. Being a feeder company, we have been strongly encouraged by main line operators forecasting an increase in volume who are using Colombo as a transhipment hub, which prompted this move.”
