In a event organized at ICD Dadri Greater Noida, the CFS-CMA CGM Logistics Park Dadri handled import containers to deliver 39 Vintage Cars from all over the world to their owners for “The Himalayan Challenge Car Rally 2018” starting from Imperial Hotel in Delhi on 21st September and finishing at Agra on 11th October 2018 on route via Mcleod Ganj, Nainital and Kathmandu. The rally organized by “The Endurance Rally Association “ of UK attracted participants from across the world. The cars appeared and driven out of CFS premises by participants were most exclusive and exquisite of their kind and featured nearly every generation by Bentley, Volvo, Mercedes, Datsun, Morris, Chrysler, Ford, Chevrolet, Austin, Rockne, Saab and Porsche.
Total 35 cars have been imported in CMA CGM shipping line containers and 4 in OOCL containers. Logistics support has been provided by one of the prominent and experienced Delhi customs broker “Cargo Channels Pvt. Ltd.” (A group company of Argus Global Logistics).
The cars were flagged off from CFS by Custom Commissioner Mr.Govind Dixit and CEO Capt.V.M.Bawa in presence of guests and customs staff. On behalf of organizers, Mr.Mahesh Trikha, Director Saurabh Trikha and CEO Manoj Kumar of Argus Global Logistics Pvt. Ltd. thanked CFS staff and custom officials for their guidance and support at ICD Dadri, which enabled clearance of car in time for such prestigious event.
