Mumbai/Bangalore, 13 December 2019: Global trade enabler DP World in India has won the prestigious “Overall Excellence in Logistics and Supply Chain” award at the CII-Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence (SCALE) Awards in recognition of the efficient and tailor-made supply chain solutions offered by the company.
CII, through its Institute of Logistics, organises the SCALE Awards annually to recognize excellence in supply chain strategy and to encourage efficiency in the logistics sector. This year the highly prestigious award saw participation from 197 companies. DP World has won the overall excellence awards under five categories recognising the company’s ability to offer integrated supply-chain solutions through its network of ports and terminals and inland assets.

DP World has been recognized under the category of ‘Terminal Operator- Sea Port’, ‘Express Courier’, ‘E-commerce Logistics’, ‘Third Party Logistics,’ and ‘Cold Chain and Temperature Controlled Services’.
DP World owns and operates six container terminals, seven inland rail terminals and five container freight stations. The company operates container trains connecting major cargo centers to gateway ports. We have pan-India capability in providing domestic 3PL warehousing services, express and cold chain services.
