December 11, 2020: Container Corporation of India (CONCOR), a Government of India undertaking, along with Ministry of Railways, will conduct a Trade Meet and an interactive session on the proposed Multi-Modal Logistics Park at Kadakola, Nanjangud. The meeting will be held on Dec. 12 at 11 am at Hotel Sandesh The Prince, Nazarbad.
Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha, Chamarajanagar MP V. Sreenivasa Prasad, Varuna MLA Dr. Yathindra Siddharamaiah, Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri and Divisional Railway Manager Rahul Agarwal will be present at the meeting.
The CONCOR is building an Inland Container Yard at Kadakola, between Mysuru and Nanjangud. The project is expected to cost Rs.92 crore (including land cost) and will include warehouse facility, bonded warehouse — a secured facility managed by the customs that will facilitate importers to store the cargo till payment of Customs Duty.
Once completed, it will provide a single-window facility for export units to complete all Customs formalities.
