RAVINDRA GANDHI ELECTED PRESIDENT OF INDO-BELGIAN-LUXEMBOURG CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY

At the Indo-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (IBLCCI) 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on September 2, 2016, Mr. Ravindra Gandhi, Managing Director of Hans Maritime Services Pvt. Ltd, was elected as President of the Chamber, Succeeding Mr. Raman Madhok, Managing Director of CMI FPE Ltd. He will be supported in this role by the two elected Vice-presidents, Mr. Paras Savla, Vice-President on the finance committee and Ms. Els Reynaers, vice-President on the administration Committee, said a release.

In his annual report to members, Raman Madhok stressed that 2015 was a very successful year for the chamber which hosted an impressive calendar of events, and provided valuable services and business development opportunities to members. He further stated that there is tremendous goodwill towards the Chamber, but in order to continually attract new members and retain them it is imperative that the Chamber continues to be relevant for members by creating more opportunities for networking and working closely with Belgium, Luxembourg and the Indian government bodies. He concluded

The AGM thanked Nandan Mehta and Ravindra Gandhi, the outgoing Vice-President, for their support and guidance in taking the Chamber forward. He also thanked Mr.Peter-Huyghebaert, Consul General of the Kingdom of Belgium, and the members present for being a part of the AGM.
In its new role, the newly-elected Governing Council will ensure the continued success of the organization towards the development and implementation of both innovative and established strategies for successful business outcomes between India, Belgium and Luxembourg.
Post the AGM, Mr.Huyghebaert hosted dinner and drinks for the members present, which was enjoyed by one and all.
