Public Enterprises Selection Board on Thursday recommended the name of Ratna Sekhar Adika for the post of Chairman and Managing Director of Balmer Lawrie & Co. Limited
Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. is a government corporation and is under the ownership of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India. It was a partnership firm founded on 1 February 1867 in Kolkata, India by two Scotsmen: George Stephen Balmer and Alexander Lawrie.
