Mr.Gaurav Joins the board as angel Investor & advisor and with the significant understanding in perishable shipping business he will assist team citrus to strengthen the product further.
Intercont being one of the leading player in perishable shipping will add a great strategic value in the business, says Biplob Barik.
We plan to use this investment in building the right team & product that will cater to the user needs. We are already present in Bangalore & Mumbai & in plans plans to expand our reach to Nashik, Nagpur & few more tier 2/3 cities.
This app comes with three core value props 1. Competitive rates instantly 2. Vessel schedules of Nvoccs & main lines 3. Confirmed DO (for limited sectors at this moment)
We believe FPOs from tier 2 & 3 cities of India are heavily dependent on CHAs or middlemen in their local area who ultimately procures services from 3rd parties making the chain long and brokerage heavy. Not only that but the quality of consignment execution also becomes complex at times.
Citrus cuts this and help FPOs to access direct rates from Nvoccs & main lines eliminating middlemen in between.
Present version is beta & in last 1 month of beta launch we have received 300+ users, 14000+ active rate searches & 100+ containers order.
