DP World to build $80m logistics park in Egypt

Dubai-headquartered DP World has signed an agreement with Egypt’s Suez Canal Economic Zone to build a port-centric logistics services zone at Sokhna Port with an estimated investment of $80 million.

Dubai-headquartered DP World has signed an agreement with Egypt’s Suez Canal Economic Zone to build a port-centric logistics services zone at Sokhna Port with an estimated investment of $80 million.

According to a press statement, the logistics park would be developed over an area of 300,000 sq. m.

The facility will cater to logistics, trading, distribution, value-added, and light industrial activities.

The logistics park, upon completion, is expected to create 600 direct and indirect job opportunities, the statement further added.
