Shri. S. Viswanathan, IAS has assumed charge from 24.04.2023 as Deputy Chairperson of Chennai Port Authority, under Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.
Shri.S.Viswanathan, IAS holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master Degree in Business Administration. He is an IAS officer of 2008 batch under Madhya Pradesh Cadre. He has previously served as Managing Director, MP Tourism Development and had held additional charge as Additional Secretary, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Medical Education Department and CVO- Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Bhopal.
