CMA CGM revises peak season surcharge from Indian Subcontinent to US East Coast

French ocean carrier CMA CGM decided to revise the Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) from the Indian Subcontinent to the US East Coast in July.

French ocean carrier CMA CGM decided to revise the Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) from the Indian Subcontinent to the US East Coast in July.

The updated surcharge will be US$150 per 20′ dry container and US$300 per 40′ and 45′ dry box.

The revised PSS will launch on 1 July from India and Sri Lanka to the US East Coast ports of New York, Norfolk, Savannah, and Charleston, while from Pakistan to the aforementioned destinations, the PSS will be effective from 10 July.
