DGFT has announced the geographic expansion of 19 existing pre-shipment Inspection Agencies to include countries such as Australia, Canada, China, Germany, Kuwait, Mexico, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, US and Vietnam. The inspection agencies are required to update their membership certificates with MRAI, ISRI and IFIA, along with contact details within 30 days. This expansion is in line with extension of geographic reach and operational scope of the inspection agencies.
