Southern Railways Chennai Division has issued the letter of acceptance to JSW Infra for developing Gati Shakti Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal (GCT) at Arakkonam, Chennai in Tamil Nadu. The complete infrastructure will be developed on railway land. JSW Infra will start construction within three months of the grant of approval to start the development. The project will be ready in one and half year time. The railway land will be licensed for a period of 35 years.
