High waves and rough weather at the Cape of Good Hope has interrupted the arrival of container ships. According to LSEG Shipping Research, the transit data collected since Monday this week has seen no arrival of container ships. While the Red Sea traffic has seen no significant change so far, but several containerships have made turnarounds and/or are waiting off the coast of Durban. The high waves at the Cape of Good Hope have been triggered by a cyclone, which may extend into the next week as well.
