Graduating from the Great Eastern Institute of Maritime Studies (GEIMS), Captain Deepti Singh was motivated to follow her father, a retired Naval officer, into a career at sea. She was inspired by the growing cohort of trailblazing women leaders in the sector.
“I encourage women seafarers who are entering the industry to focus on sharing knowledge with their colleagues on board, achieving results together, and always believe in yourself.” she said.
