According to a senior official on Tuesday, the commerce ministry intends to concentrate on 12 champion sectors more consistently in order to increase services sector exports. According to Commerce Secretary Sunil Barthwal, India may be “very” prominent in the services sector.

“We will be concentrating on them with greater coherence as we have chosen 12 champion services areas. He told reporters here, “We are considering how to concentrate with other ministries and in partnership with other ministries, one by one on distinct services.

IT, travel, healthcare, education, transportation, accounting, construction, and associated engineering services are among the industries that have been identified.

Take shipping lines, shipping services, containers, and transport services, as examples. Collaboration with the Shipping Ministry, ports, and other ministries is necessary in this field. In a similar vein, close cooperation with the health ministry will be necessary for the provision of healthcare,” he continued.

By 2030, the ministry wants to export goods and services for $1 trillion.

He continued, “The merchandise is more affected by the world conflicts than the sector is.”
