By authorizing more than Rs 1,100 crore for projects in Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, the Indian government has made a major advancement in infrastructure. These large-scale initiatives to improve regional connectivity were launched by Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari.
In Andhra Pradesh, a 6-lane elevated corridor at Ranasthalam, Srikakulam, has been approved at a total cost of Rs 252.42 crore. It is anticipated that this project will increase road safety, reduce traffic, and open up new socioeconomic potential in the area.
The government has also set aside Rs 903.44 crore to upgrade the Gyaraspur to Rahatgarh segment of Madhya Pradesh’s National Highway-146. This initiative, which is a part of the Bhopal-Kanpur corridor, is expected to improve connectivity, support regional trade, and raise living standards by stimulating economic activity.
