Since opening the first direct shipping route between Pakistan and Bangladesh in October, DP World and National Logistics Corporation (NLC), Pakistan’s leading multimodal logistics company, have transported over 1,000 containers between the two nations.
The service’s importance in promoting regional trade is demonstrated by the most recent shipment on board the MV Yuan Xiang Fa Zhan, which sailed from Karachi and is scheduled to arrive at Bangladesh’s Chittagong Port in January.
