Abu Dhabi Ports will collaborate with DAL Group, a local company, to create a new Red Sea port in Sudan. The massive port, which will handle a variety of goods and include a free trade zone, will give the country with a much-needed second significant maritime outlet in addition to the already-congested Port Sudan. Around 200 kilometres north of Port Sudan, the new port, which would also include a small airport, will be built.
