SAFEEN Green, an advanced unmanned surface vessel (USV) designed to revolutionize marine survey and inspection procedures, has been unveiled by SAFEEN Subsea, a member of the AD Ports Group’s Maritime & Shipping Cluster.
With exceptional operational efficiency and environmental sustainability, this state-of-the-art vessel provides commercial-grade geophysical data.
Because SAFEEN Green can operate up to 200 nautical miles offshore and collect high-quality hydrographic and geophysical data with little ecological damage, it represents a significant advancement in subsea services.
Utilizing advanced navigation and safety equipment, the vessel is remotely operated from an onshore Remote Operation Centre (ROC) to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations.
SAFEEN Green’s carbon footprint is greatly reduced because it is powered solely by biofuel or renewable electric energy, producing only 10% of the emissions associated with conventional vessels.
While features like twin autopilot systems, redundant HD cameras, and strong monitoring tools guarantee seamless and secure operation, its unmanned architecture increases safety by eliminating staff dangers. It blends affordability and excellent performance with modular cargo options and improved fuel efficiency.
