Adani Ports reports a 42% increase in H1 2024–2025 profitability

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. (APSEZ) announced on Tuesday that its net profit for the first half of current fiscal year (H1 FY25) increased by 42% to Rs 5,520 crore, up from Rs 3,881 crore during the same period last fiscal year (H1 FY24).

In Q2 FY25, the flagship company of the diverse Adani Group recorded a 37% increase in net profit, from Rs 1,762 crore in the same period last year to Rs 2,413 crore.

While port revenue alone climbed by 11% to Rs 12,824 crore in H1 FY25, operating revenue grew by 13% YoY to Rs 14,627 crore.

In the first half of current fiscal year, cargo volume increased by 9% year-over-year to 220 million metric tons (MMT), with containers accounting for the majority of this growth (19% YoY).

Additionally, the corporation added 26 offshore support vessels to diversify its marine fleet throughout the quarter. By expanding rakes, warehouses, MMLPs, and agri-silos, the logistics company also saw strong growth, improving last-mile connectivity.
