The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a $350 million loan to support India’s efforts to modernize its logistics sector. This funding will be used to implement policies and strategies outlined in the Prime Minister Gati Shakti National Master Plan (PMGS-NMP) and the National Logistics Policy (NLP). These initiatives aim to improve infrastructure, streamline processes, and promote digitization. By supporting India’s logistics sector, the ADB hopes to boost the country’s economic competitiveness and reduce logistics costs.
