In a unique way of engaging and strengthening relationship with its customers, Allcargo’s NVOCC team recently hosted a one of its kind football league, ‘Allcargo Champions League’ – Team DHL was crowned champions after a power packed final against Damco which ended with a penalty shoot out.
Amidst heavy rainfall, the league saw 12 teams playing for the coveted title. A cheering squad of 165 enthusiastic audiences gathered to watch the tournament. These teams were the winners of Allcargo Premier League, a tournament which has been held every quarter since June 2015.
The event was kicked off by ECU Worldwide’s overseas delegate Mr. Varuna Wirasinha, Vice President – UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain and the tournament concluded with a grand felicitation ceremony with Ms. Shantha Martin, CEO – ISC, Middle East, Africa and East Med handing over the trophies to the winning teams.
