Allcargo Group’s Founder & Chairman Shashi Kiran Shetty along with other prominent dignitaries like Padamshri Anuradha Poudwal and the renowned Hinduja Brothers from Hinduja Group flagged off 7th Edition of Mumbai Sustainability Run on the Christmas Day in Mumbai. The event was organised by Vivekananda Youth Connect Foundation to raise the awareness amongst the community especially about environmental issues and taking steps towards greener and sustainable living. To support the sustainability initiative, 51 employees from Allcargo Group participated in the marathon along with the NGO partners: Save the Children India and Saad Foundation.
Allcargo Group has been participating in the marathons for over 12 years especially the ones related to healthcare, education and environment conservation. Furthermore, driving sustainability across wider community Allcargo Group supported Rishikesh Sustainability run in the month of August 2022. Through the group’s stance on the environment and sustainability it is taking various steps to raise awareness on environmental protection including planting fruit bearing trees in rural Maharashtra, cleaning of the beaches and monuments of national importance as well as building toilets in the school and community setting across rural India.
