The warehouse will particularly aid in procurement of goods for its global supply chains. However, The US company will have to face taxes and duties if it increases its business in Bangladesh, the state minister said.
The state minister made the comments at a press conference after a meeting with the visiting delegation of the US-Bangladesh Business Council, held at the commerce ministry in Dhaka. The delegation members include senior representatives from the globally-renowned companies like Meta, Chevron, Coke, Boeing and many others.
