APM Terminals Pipavav standalone financial performance for the quarter ended December 31, 2018

APM Terminals Pipavav (Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd) today announced the standalone financial results for the second quarter ended December 31, 2018.
The company reported a net profit of INR 522 million for Q3FY19 as against INR 500 million in Q3FY18. Revenue from operations for the quarter under consideration stood at INR 1,747 million as against INR 1,627 million in Q3FY18.

EBIDTA for the quarter was at INR 987 million as against INR 947 million during the same quarter last year. EBIDTA margin stood at 57% in Q3FY19 as against 58% in Q3FY18

The Container cargo business for the quarter stood at appx. 251K TEUs, Bulk business was at 0.33 MMT and Liquid business was at appx. 015 MMT. RoRo business handled appx. 20K cars for the quarter under review.

Commenting on the results, APM Terminals Pipavav, Managing Director, Mr. Keld Pedersen said,
“The company has registered YoY growth of 45% in container volume with the healthy mix of EXIM, Transshipment and Coastal volumes. At 251k TEUs, the company has registered the highest quarterly container volume. I am thankful to our customers for their trust in us and I assure that the company will continue its efforts in providing best in class port services.”
