Further expanding its global footprint the Adani Group has bagged a contract to build a new port in Vietnam. The Vietnamese government has granted in principle approval to APSEZ for the development of the greenfield port. The port project is yet being planned and financial aspects are to be worked out. The facility will feature container terminals and multipurpose berths to accommodate various types of cargo, enhancing Vietnam’s maritime trade capacity. This will be Adani Group’s fourth international projects following the Haifa Port in Israel, Colombo Port in Sri Lanka and the Port of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania.
