APSEZ to bag clean cargo terminal at Deendayal Port

The terminal is said to have a capacity of 5.7 MT, with a breakup of 4.2MT of dry bulk cargo and 0.10 million teus.

Deendayal Port may soon assign the multipurpose clean cargo terminal with 5.7 million tonne capacity to APSEZ for a period of 30 years. Adani Group is said to have offered the highest share in royalty of Rs.200 per tonne. Deendayal Port is said to be the second largest port in the country in terms of volumes handled. The total project cost is estimated at Rs.169.26Cr.

The terminal is said to have a capacity of 5.7 MT, with a breakup of 4.2MT of dry bulk cargo and 0.10 million teus. Major cargo moving through the terminal includes project cargo, Ro-Ro, sugar, salt, wooden logs, silica, sand and containers.
