An awareness Rally was held on 17th September 2019, in the residential area of Sada, Mormugao by the officers, staff and employees of the port, accompanied by the students of the Deepvihar Secondary School. The Rally was flagged off by Shri Sandesh Mesta MMC Ward Councillor, together with the Headmistress of the School Smt. Wilma Pereira. The rally received a positive response from the Sada residents at every corner, while the residents were made aware of the harmful effects of plastics on human life and the need to keep the surroundings clean. Attractive placards with slogans prepared by the students of the Deepvhiar Secondary school conveyed the message of Swachhta Hi Seva Week very loud and clear.
