Bahri (The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia) opened its new office in Mumbai on Friday, February 17, 2017. The 3,200 sq. ft office was inaugurated by Mr Ibrahim A. Al-Omar, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bahri, in the presence of other senior officials of the company based in its Riyadh headquarters, as well as Capt. Jiten Bhosale, Country Manager, and his team, and other invitees.
A gala dinner was organised later in the evening to celebrate the new office opening, which saw key customers of Bahri being felicitated. It was attended by representatives from a cross-section of the trade. In a brief address on the occasion, Mr Ibrahim A. Al-Omar said that the new office will allow Bahri to have more strong and direct relations with customers and provide more value to them.
Formed in 1978, Bahri has grown from a small shipping firm operating multipurpose vessels to become one of the biggest shipping conglomerates in the world and occupies a pre-eminent position among its industry peers at national, regional and international levels in all sectors of its business operations. During the course of its diversification, the company’s services have been expanded to include transportation of general cargo, crude oil, chemical, LPG and dry bulk. With its commendable track record, the company has established the reputation of providing high standard of services to its customers in all sectors.
