Gateway Rail in association with DSV Air and Sea flagged off a block train of International Tractor Limited carrying tractors and tractor parts to Pipavav Port for connecting on to the designated vessels for Turkey. This event also marked the successful completion of one year of trade announcement by Gateway Rail for non-levying of terminal handling charges on all export containers at ICD Sahnewal. This was a move to boost exports from Punjab by controlling the transaction cost for exporters. ICD-Sahnewal, Gateway Rail is Punjab’s first private ICD situated at Sahnewal and provides comprehensive logistics solutions to exporter and importers.
