ODeX recognised and awarded the winners and participants of the annual Champions Trophy 2019 on April 19, 2019, organised by Navi Mumbai Custom Brokers Community. This cricket tournament took place at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in CBD Belapur.
Out of the eight teams that played, Varad Logistics came out a winner, winning the trophy.
The championship saw two leading winners: Man of the Series was won by Sandip Patil (Pappu) from Hind Terminal, while Man of the Match was won by Ganesh Karande from Varad Logistics. Sandip Patil took home a 32 Inch Smart T.V. while Mr Ingole took home an American Tourister Premium Travel Trolley – both sponsored by ODeX.
Team Captains and each participant from all the eight teams received a participatory certificate in order to commemorate their effort and acknowledge their contribution to the team.
“We see enormous value in supporting the community which included members from the Navi Mumbai Police, JN Customs, GTI Port, Custom Brokers, and CFS-11. They have always demonstrated their determination to get the job done on the docks, and so we wanted to reward their performances on the field as well,” said Vinit Shetty, Director at ODeX.
