CHITTAGONG port in Bangladesh has handled an all-time high throughput of 265,165 TEUs in Novem-ber 2018, breaking the previous monthly record of 259,210 TEUs achieved in July this year. This is attributed to the ef-ficiencies realised from the commissioning of new container handling equipment in May. The port had handled a volume of 2.56 million TEUs in 2017.
