[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]CMA CGM and Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on February 14, in Hangzhou, China, for cooperation between the two leading companies in the digital area.
For CMA CGM, it is one step ahead to create added value for its customers and to make the industry meet the digital world.
This cooperation between CMA CGM and Alibaba will provide digitised services to clients through the ONE TOUCH platform. They propose together an alternative to the direct booking platform for customers, to provide online booking facility for shipments ex China to the Mediterranean and Adriatic areas through the CMA CGM MEX1 and CMA CGM BEX services.
The CMA CGM MEX 1 service, connecting Asia to the Mediterranean area, will propose ports of loading as Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Yantian, and ports of discharge in the West Mediterranean base ports such as Barcelona, Valencia.
The CMA CGM BEX service, connecting Asia to Adriatic ports, will propose the ports of loading as Shanghai, Ningbo, Chiwan, and ports of discharge in the Adriatic base ports such as Rijeka, Koper, Trieste, Venice, said a release.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
