In order to eliminate operational inefficiencies, minimize needless container movements, and lower carbon emissions across the transportation and logistics supply chain, Compact Container Systems (CCS) has introduced the SeaFold HC 40′ container, the first five-in-one, foldable shipping container in the world.

The best industry-standard materials are used in the production of the SeaFold 40′. No specialized equipment is required to operate the box, which has passed all ISO and water ingress testing and is compatible with all common lift equipment found at the majority of ports, terminals, and depots.

The SeaFold 40′ has the potential to reduce carbon emissions by up to 70%, storage space by 80%, and box repositioning costs by 56%, as more than 20% of all ISO containers return empty to their port of origin.

These containers make a port, terminal, or depot’s operation and storage system safer and more effective, according to company sources. This is particularly crucial at the busiest time of year, when traffic is heavy and empty container removal takes precedence.
