The process for online export shipments will also be simplified. India currently lags far behind of competitor China in comparison of E-commerce exports. Industry insiders estimate India’s e-commerce exports are approximately $2 billion, as compared to China’s impressive $350 billion exports. This gap needs to be bridged by developing a more supportive ecosystem for exporters.

The dedicated E-commerce export hubs will feature customs and security checks, and the cleared parcels will be shipped through a green channel at airports, tedious inspection systems will be simplified. These hubs will also offer services for warehousing, returns processing, labelling, product testing, and repackaging.
