Deendayal Port Trust was recognised as a pioneering maritime facility as well as for its Outstanding Cargo Handling (115 MMT in 2018-19) for the 4th time at the 9th Quality Mark Awards 2019 held in Ahmedabad recently.
Mr Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of State (Independent Charge) in the Ministry of Shipping, who was the Chief Guest at the function, gave away the award to the Port Chairman, Mr S. K. Mehta, and the Port Secretary, Mr Venugopal.
Some of the others present on the occasion were State Minister Mr Kunverji Bavaliya, and Mr Kirtibhai Solanki, MP, among other dignitaries.
