Delta Ports Mormugao Terminal, operated by Mangalore-based Delta Infralogistics (Worldwide) Ltd, has officially commenced operations at berths 10 and 11 of the Mormugao Port. The launch follows a 30-year concession agreement signed on December 14, 2023, under a public-private partnership (PPP) model. The operations were formally kicked off on April 4, with Mormugao Port Authority Chairperson Vinodkumar Nair flagging off the harbour cranes for their inaugural move.

In a forward-looking move, Delta Ports is also exploring a pilot project to integrate autonomous vehicles into its operations, aiming to boost safety and efficiency through advanced technology.
