The PMG said it is an affordable and cheaper platform which has been provided with the help of the Director General of Foreign Trade Office (DGFT). He said we are getting good response from cities like Muzaffarpur, which is the litchi hub of Bihar. Muzaffarpur City is also the biggest trade and business centre of North Bihar. He said the Dak Niryat Kendra is like a one stop center for producers as it provides packaging and custom clearance solutions which is very important for exporters. Mr. Sinha said our target is small producers who can’t afford costly services, so the department has engaged sales executives also. The Post Master General said for the convenience of customers in rural areas the department has started its operation with Android Mobile based application.
In Bihar, there are 8264 branch post offices in rural areas. Mr. Sinha said it will boost service where internet and network is a big issue. It will be a win-win situation for customers as well as the Department of Post.
