The logistics industry of Bengaluru got a major boost with Distribution Logistics Infrastructure commencing operations as a private freight terminal in Bengaluru region. The logistics park named DLI Anekal, situated next to industrial catchment area of Bengaluru, off Hosur road, handled its first container train last week. It is served by Maranayakahalli railway station constructed by DLI. The logistics park is located next to South Bangalore adjoining Electronics city and will provide logistics services to industries located next to Hosur, Krishnagiri and other adjoining regions of Tamil Nadu.
