DP World has reached a milestone in the Sokhna Logistics Park development, with 65% of the initial phase completed. The $80 million logistics hub, located in the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), aims to enhance Egypt’s logistics framework and position it as a regional trade hub.

The facility spans 300,000 square meters and is designed to offer integrated supply chain solutions, utilizing DP World’s global network. Completion is scheduled for June 2025, with objectives to improve efficiency, reduce logistics costs, and bolster connectivity between Egypt, the Middle East, Africa, and beyond. Located ten kilometers from Sokhna Port, the park provides direct access to Greater Cairo’s markets and industrial zones, enabling businesses to streamline cargo movements and reduce operational costs.

Built to international standards, the park supports industries such as agriculture, pharmaceuticals, retail, automotive, and textiles. It includes bonded and non-bonded warehouses, office space, and cargo yards, with activities like warehousing, freight forwarding, customs clearing, and value-added services. The facility will support a range of cargo across imports, exports, and transit, integrated with DP World’s Sokhna Port operations, offering multi-modal supply chain services. Interest has emerged from local and international markets, including businesses in the Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai seeking regional expansion.
