The new economic relief package 2.0 would provide significant liquidity to the MSMEs to take care of their cash needs, which have been battered by the Coronavirus-induced national lockdown for more than a month, said Mr Krishnamurthy Subramanian, Chief Economic Advisor, while speaking to a channel. He pointed out that the package is under planning and can be out as soon as the lockdown ends. It is being prepared keeping in mind the grim situation faced by the country’s MSME sector. The government is using this time under lockdown to come out with a well-considered economic package without any hurry, he added.
