ECU Worldwide, a subsidiary of Allcargo Group and the world’s largest LCL company, has won “The Technology Service Provider of the Year” at the First Edition of the Landmarks in Logistics Awards 2022 on 22nd September 2022. This award was organised by the UAE-based Logistics Gulf News and supported by the National Association of Logistics and Freight.
Commenting on this achievement Vaishnav Shetty – Chief Digital Officer –ECU Worldwide said “It was an honour to be the only legacy company to be nominated for the award and we are so thrilled to go on to win such a prestigious award. While there were a number of nominations, the other two companies that made it to the final list, along with ECU Worldwide, were US-based project44, one of the world’s largest supply chain startups and UAE-based IQ Robotics offering warehouse automation technology services.

The Landmarks in Logistics Awards 2022 are many coveted and desirable awards instituted to identify, recognize, represent, vet and reward companies that match the highest industry benchmarks and criteria on multiple parameters including performance, operational streamlining, adoption of technology, ‘going the extra mile and adhere to sustainability goals, among many other scalable and quantifiable standards.
There were a total of 19 categories under which organisations had to nominate themselves for various awards. ECU Worldwide was nominated under the category of Technology Services Provider of the Year and 3PL Freight Forwarder of the Year.
