The Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations in India (FFFAI), a member of International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA), representing India, has extended the date of inviting applications from young logistics professionals to November 30, 2022 to participate in the Nomination process of the FIATA Young Logistics Professionals (YLP) Award 2023.
The candidates will be selected as per the following schedule:
- Candidates will be invited for introduction on 30th November 2022 on receipt of nomination.
- Candidates will have to come prepared with the topic of their choice basis YLP criteria and they can select their topic while submitting their nomination.
- Intimation to shortlisted candidates to submit their presentation / dissertation by 14th January, 2023.
- Interview of final shortlisted candidates and selection of FFFAI nominee by Steering Committee of FFFAI on 24th January 2023.
- Announcement and “Nomination of Candidate” by FFFAI to FIATA on 25th January 2023.
Meanwhile, very good responses have been witnessed from the young logistics professionals and the extension is to provide opportunities to more aspirants. Objective of the FIATA YLP Award is to encourage/promote young logistics professionals to have international exposure by demonstrating domain knowledge as regard to logistics business and operations.
Participating in the YLP Award the the young logistics professionals will get the opportunity to have international acquaintances for their company as well as their own career building in the logistics domain.
