The first international cruise passenger vessel of the tourist season is scheduled to dock at the international cruise berth of Mormugao Port Authority (MPA) on Wednesday. The cruise liner MV Viking Mars, which originated from Norway, has onboard 1,103 passengers and 452 crew and will arrive in Goa via Dubai and Mumbai. It will then proceed to Colombo.

MPA and Goa tourism have made arrangements to welcome the travellers of the first cruise liner of the season. Tourists taxis from the port town operated by locals have also geared up for the season.

Most cruise liners usually make a brief halt at Mormugao port that last for a day or less.
