PVRK Prasad, former Chairman, Visakhapatnam Port Trust, former IAS officer and media advisor to former Prime Minister Late Narasimha Rao, passed away in the early hours of August 21 at the age of 77.
In his role as an IAS Officer, he had made many contributions to the development of the city. In fact, he was one of the key people involved in the development of the Visakhapatnam port trust as the Port Trust Chairman. He also helped construct the port stadium and develop its infrastructure.
