A Crude Oil vessel has been anchored at the Colombo Harbour for over three weeks, and Sri Lanka is yet to make payments for the vessel.

Further, two vessels carrying diesel have been anchored in the Port of Colombo for over a week.

An official at the Ministry of Power and Energy said that steps will be taken in consultation with the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) to access the necessary dollars to pay for the ships.
