Gateway Distriparks Limited announces Project ‘NIGAH’

Gateway Distriparks Limited, in collaboration with Indian Customs is pleased to announce the inauguration of Project ‘NIGAH’ by Sh. Surjit Bhujabal, IRS, Honourable Chief Commissioner of Customs, Delhi Zone. Project ‘NIGAH’ was launched on 26th May 2022 at ICD Garhi Harsaru, Gurugram, Haryana. Sh. Surjit Bhujabal was accompanied by Sh. Manish Saxena, Commissioner of Customs ICD PPG, Sh. Jayant Sahay, Additional Commissioner Customs, Sh. Sunil Srivastava, Deputy Commissioner Customs, Sh. Puneet Jain, President, Delhi Customs Brokers Association and other Dignitaries from the trade.

Project ‘NIGAH’ is an initiative developed by Gateway Distriparks for Indian Customs to track containers via the ICD Container Tracking Module. It gives complete visibility of containers to Customs Officials at ICD through customized dashboards, enabling ease of Customs clearance process and faster tracking of all Export & Import containers. This system is first of its kind in India and Gateway Distriparks is proud and appreciative of the trust placed by Indian Customs for executing this project. The Chief Commissioner of Customs Sh. Surjit Bhujabal appreciated the efforts of Gateway Distriparks Limited (GDL) in the field of Technology enabling ‘Ease of doing Business’ and ensuring ‘Safety and Security’ at the terminal. He further emphasized the stakeholders to take advantage of the ‘Dashboard’ provided under Project ‘NIGAH’ by GDL. He also stressed upon the point of maintaining Data Integrity at all times.
